Today is the Summer Solstice!

As we embrace the first day of summer, there are many events to welcome the Summer Solstice!

Father's Day is this Sunday!
With Father's Day quickly approaching, I can't help but to visualize all of the joy and happiness that will be shared by families across the world. But if you're a wife, child, or maybe even a best friend, you are probably thinking, what type of gift will I give this year? (especially for the man who has everything)
Well, I can tell you for sure, my dad (who has moved on from this physical world) took great pride in his personal space. And what I mean by this is, a MAN CAVE!
Father's want a space they can call their own, just as women! This is where he and his buddies go to relax, watch sports and talk about hot women :-)! If you don't believe me, check it out, there's even a MAN CAVE website; www.mancavesite.org. They have an abundance of photos and commentary for the man who desires a space of his own where he can just be himself!
If you don't have a separate space, try updating a portion of your living room with a more warm masculine paint color, (like in the above photo) moderate sized Flat Screen T.V., along with dad friendly accessories, such as a Universal Remote and of course, beer mugs!

Victorian House & Garden Tour on 6/12/11. This exciting event serves as
great inspiration for interior decorators and potential home buyers.
Bravo's new show Million Dollar Decorators is so innovative and provides an
in depth look at the real role that Decorators play in the lives of their clients.
I absolutely loooove what Martyn Lawrence Bullard created for Sharon Osborne's
terrace. It is creatively devine!
